Phone.com is a one-stop portal offering a suite of ever-growing, economical phone services designed for entrepreneurs and households. Powered by VoIP and SaaS technologies, the company currently offers its first two Internet-based communications products: Virtual Office for small businesses and Home Phone for consumers. Phone.com products provide the ability to customize and modify a variety of phone services for professional or personal use.
Challenges
In order for Phone.com to position their new brand as a leader in VoIP services, their online presence needed to specifically engage their primary target audiences of residential and business users alike. Phone.com’s new online presence required easy access to information that would ultimately guide the customer to (and through) an easy sign up process, communicate and educate target audiences about the benefits of VoIP, as well as speak to their target audiences about the vast array of features and packages. After having gone through multiple designers to no avail, Phone.com called the experts at Graphics.net for solutions.
Solution
Initially, Graphics.net rolled out a strong, relevant and simple logo to serve as the foundation for the Phone.com brand. Graphics.net focused on a “shallow” WordPress themed site for quick, manageable access to content. To continue the theme from the logo, Graphics.net executed the entire look and feel for the Phone.com website by using a visual hierarchy with clean colors and uncluttered typography. The homepage was developed with two primary color-coded entrances, green for residential and blue for business, to cater to both audiences and provide easy, intuitive access into the site.
Results
The outcome is a brand that reflects the gender-neutral, mass-market appeal that the executive leadership at Phone.com desired. Graphics.net created a logo and website that will serve Phone.com for decades to come and keep up with their ever-growing operations and services.
