Challenges
The two biggest challenge faced by Graphics.net were branding and information architecture.
Software.com’s goal was to deliver a better product, not a new one, so their brand needed to be prominent in a saturated market. Simultaneously, they wanted to portray themselves as an industry leader.
Delivering on the promise of a better user experience was a key objective. With software titles topping six digits, and their subsequent resources, content was abundant. Effective information architecture, navigation, search, and calls to action were critical.
